The author describes how her father changed his life by enrolling at the Pritikin Longevity Center. He smoked, did not eat well, never exercised, and had high blood pressure and cholesterol levels. He quit smoking, improved his diet, and brought his blood pressure and cholesterol under control.

Outsmart ovarian cancer
Article Abstract:
The lack of standard screening guidelines for ovarian cancer makes it more difficult to detect the disease early. The disease is fairly uncommon, but incidence in close family members increases risk. Regular visits to a gynecologist and pelvic exams are the best ways to get an early diagnosis.
