Article Abstract:
A study of the effect of group cohesion on competitive state anxiety (A-state) shows a positive relation between the two. The results reveal that this relationship is influenced by the perceptions of psychological costs connected with membership on cohesive teams. The study also reveals that this relationship is not affected by the perception of the psychological advantages of cohesiveness.
