A meeting with an admitted pathological liar is described. Many people sometimes lie to avoid trouble, but pathological liars lie constantly, apparently to increase their self-esteem. There has been little psychological work done with pathological liars because they seldom seek help.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the US, and anger is one of the most significant risk factors that can lead to heart attacks. Research is indicating that giving in to anger may be the most dangerous approach. Resisting the anger and relaxation are recommended.
