The spikeless debate
Article Abstract:
Golfers have differing opinions on the use of golf shoes with spikes, which are banned on over 730 US golf courses. Spikeless shoes protect the greens and reduce the number of foot and leg problems that golfers have, but they also do not last as long as shoes with spikes.

The USGA makes rules on design standards of golf clubs and balls. The USGA receives 300 clubs yearly, 40% are putters and 40% to 60% are accepted. Clubs with odd shapes are usually rejected.
