Tennis doubles does not get the popularity it deserves. Even though more amateurs play doubles than singles the television networks do not show many professional games. In recent years men's tennis stars have tended not to play doubles anymore.

The left-handed tennis player has always been trying to contend with right-handed oriented teachers and equipment. However, their seeming awkwardness and on-court disadvantage has produced its fair share of tennis champions.
