Many hunters attest to the fact that wild turkeys are more canny and wily compared to their domesticated counterparts. Hunters often have to wait for long periods of time before seeing wild turkeys. More often, they come out in places beyond the preset firing points of hunters.

Afather recalls one turkey hunting experience he had with her daughter while escorting her to be married. During the particular experience, he fell into a stream while running after several turkeys. Aside from being funny, the experience helped bring them closer to one another.
