Craig Vetter turned his dream into a reality by investing hard work, time and patience. His dream was to design a new motorcycle, which he fulfilled in 1980 via Triumph Hurricane. He has created another design, the Mystery Ship, a Kawasaki KZ1000 motorcycle fitted with a fiberglass body.

Motorcycle manufacturer Craig Vetter has set his sights on higher goals as he attempts to create a new design for the Harley-Davidson. Vetter has already created two styles, the Triumph Hurricane for Kawasaki in the 1970s and the Mystery Ship in the 1980s.

The XR-1000, which was introduced by Harley-Davidson in 1983, did not meet expectations in terms of styling, horsepower or price. The model was discontinued in 1984. Collectors are paying $7,500 to $10,000 for the XR-1000 in 1993.
