The two-track exercise demonstrated by Cleve Wells, world champion trainer, states using reverse psychology to educate young horses, for instance being in the pen area denoting work and on the rail signifying a place to be slow paced and relaxed. The sense of claustrophobia is generated amongst many young horses when they are on the rails.
