Trouble with head tossing

The 8-year-old thoroughbred Gelding has started flipping his head during feeding time or during a lot of activity at the barn. Katherine Houpt who is a physiology professor and director of the animal-behavior clinic at Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine, answers that head-flipping is usually the result of a physical problem and one should consult your veterinarian to diagnose it.

Overprotective filly

Katherine Houpt, provides a solution to Kathy Burd from Plainwell, Michigan whose filly was born with clouded lenses and was very aggressive towards other horses in the presence of Kathy. Houpt recommends few steps to reduce the filly's undesirable behavior and to teach her how to control her possessive behavior.
