Trout on the bubble: a plastic bubble lets you cast a fly with spinning gear
Article Abstract:
Sometimes it is not possible to cast a fly because of wind or obstructions. When trout are going for insects, the solution is to use a clear plastic bubble and the appropriate fly with a spinning outfit. Tying the fly and other tips are given.

Fly-fishing for trout can be easier at night, because a fisherman's heightened senses improve the accuracy of his technique. Trout are easier to catch at night, since they often rest during the day and become more active after sunset.
