Two old men and the sea

After a 30-year hiatus, a man and his now-blind friend decide to renew their old friendship with a cruise in a 37-ft sailboat. As they sail, their relationships crystalizes; the sighted friend is responsible for safety, the blind friend's memory bank for navigation. Together they weather crises.

Squall in the Gulf Stream

A sailor describes being caught by a squall half way between New York and Bermuda aboard an Alberg 35. The wind was over 60 knots and the boat was knocked down so far that the spreaders were nearly in the water.
