Issues relating to hunting in Canada are presented, with particular reference to the province of British Columbia. Provincial government action spurred by environmental agency activity in early 2001 has threatened grizzly and black bear hunting.

Creating an attractive landing area is essential when hunting Canada geese. The hunters and the blind must be perfectly camouflaged. Decoys can be placed in family-sized groups that leave a clear space for the geese to land.
