Urban ski bums

A group of executives from the San Francisco Bay area are dedicated skiiers and are loosely known as the Bay Area Bombers. Many of the group average over 60 days per year on the slopes. Skiing aids in reducing stress and some people are able to think well when skiing.

A woman goes skiing at the Alyeska Resort's skiing area, which is in the Chugach Mountains, AL. The first day, she is snowed in. But, by the second day the weather has cleared up and she goes skiing. The city and residents of Girdwood, AL, are described.
