Antioxidant restriction and oxidative stress in short-duration exhaustive exercise
Article Abstract:
The effects of dietary antioxidant restriction on oxidative stress, a high intake of antioxidant rich foods or supplements required in trained athletes is determined. It is concluded that athletes participating regularly in up to 40 minutes of acute high-intensity exercise require higher intakes of exogenous antioxidants to defend against increased oxidative stress during exercise, which can be met through an adequate intake of high-antioxidant foods.

Leg stiffness and expertise in men jumping
Article Abstract:
An attempt made to investigate the leg spring behavior in the one-leg vertical jump, the contribution of impulse parameters to this behavior and the effect of jumping expertise on leg stiffness is presented. Differences between experts and novices were observed in terms of the contribution of leg stiffness to jump height, and more importantly, clear differences existed between experts in jumping parameters.
