Shotgunners can improve their accuracy by using the new 24-gram shotgun loads that limit recoil. The new loads reduce the recoil of a 12-gauge shotgun to that of a 28-gauge. The new shotgun shell reduces recoil by packing a 20-gauge load of pellets.

Bismuth Cartridge Co's bismuth-tin loads and Federal Cartridge Co's new tungsten-iron pellets are expensive but effective. Both minimize the crippling of birds and increase kill numbers. These loads work well on geese and big ducks.
