Article Abstract:
Women who bring charges of date rape, or acquaintance rape, are finding it difficult to prove their cases. Usually the plaintiff and the defendant are the only two eyewitnesses, and the women find their character and actions attacked in court. It is estimated that only 16% of such cases are reported.
