Youngsters, those who play top-level junior tennis, have felled back, shoulder, elbow, leg and wrist injuries caused predominantly by overuse. Researchers found that nearly one in five players suffered a new or recurring injury during the weeklong tournament.

Tennis players are particularly vulnerable to knee injuries because of the motions involved in the game. Knowing the exercises needed to strengthen the knee and the symptoms of knee problems is therefore very important to the athlete.
