The key issues discussed at the American Public Transportation AssociationEs (APTA) annual meeting at the Salt Lake City were the impact of the U.S economy on the transit system, the role of product innovations in strengthening the economy, and the issue of increased transit funding for the reauthorization of Transportation Equity Act of the 21st century ( TEA 21).
