Going out to play
Article Abstract:
Leisure attractions which include good play facilities for children as part of the package are likely to increase attendances, dwell time and repeat visits. Experts from the play equipment industry believe that design of the play area is important. Safety is of paramount importance, but play equipment needs to be suited to the target age group, the equipment should suit its environment, and the equipment should provide a complete experience encompassing physical, social, intellectual and other elements.

Driving forward
Article Abstract:
The UK golf market is currently rather underdeveloped, but many leisure operators are starting to consider the viability of indoor golf systems. Such systems can be used in many different locations, such as family entertainment centres and airports, and will soon become an attraction in their own right. However, some observers are sceptical about indoor golf, claiming that simulators do not match up to the real experience of playing golf.

Moving on up
Article Abstract:
There are still relatively few suppliers of animated figures in the US and Europe, although demand continues to rise steadily. A key trend is compliance, which ensures that an animated figure moves in the same way as a human body.
