Neville Abraham
Article Abstract:
Neville Abraham, the Calcutta-born chairman and chief executive of London restaurant company Groupe Chez Gerard, says he was something of a nomad before he founded one of the UK's top quality restaurant chains. Abraham, who has an honours degree in economics, spent 10 years as a management consultant and eight years as a civil servant, during which time his passion for wine prompted him to establish a mail-order wine business. The company has an annual turnover of around 27 million pounds sterling and its three key restaurant brands, Chez Gerard, Livebait and Richoux, incorporate 22 restaurants.
