Testing times
Article Abstract:
The fitness assessment of new members of a health club is questioned on the grounds that it is not necessarily an effective way of motivating the individual. New members are often tested on body fat, muscular endurance, flexibility, and a submaximal cycle test, and then shown where on a scale of norms they appear. It is argued that the individual has already demonstrated motivation by joining the club. Arguments against fitness testing are discussed.

Do you know what's in store?
Article Abstract:
Implementing a data storage policy is becoming extremely important for many UK companies, especially as volumes of information coming into companies continue to rise. Companies must identify their key information and establish standard procedures for its storage and format. The kind of data which is saved should be decided on the basis of business priorities. Information should be moved to cheap storage options once it becomes less current.
