Franchise restaurant chains and convenience stores are forming strategic branding alliance to boost their market shares. The synergies of two strong retail brand associating with each other results in benefits such as efficiencies of site locations, customer overlaps and lower costs. C- stores have been revitalizing their business by reinventing themselves as full-service neighborhood stores with ATMs, video rentals and magazines. The addition of branded foodservices molds with the concept and has in fact increased store traffic by at least 20%.
