Venturing into the Canadian teahouse market looks promising with the increased interest in tea as reflected in the growing number of people going in tearooms across the country. According to the Tea Council of Canada, there are nine Canadians in ten who enjoy tea, and the demographic of tea drinkers has also changed dramatically. In addition to serving properly prepared, high-quality tea, succeeding in this business involves other factors. These include choice of a broker, location and surroundings.

Article Abstract:
The number of private dining rooms has increased in upscale Canadian restaurants. Private dining rooms were once found mostly in luxury hotels and major culinary centers. Customers who patronize these exclusive eating places are mostly middle-class diners who want avoid main dining rooms. Among the Canadian eateries that have private dining rooms are Vancouver's La Terrazza, Edmonton's Characters restaurant and Winnipeg's Le Beaujolais.
