Tile 93 report
Article Abstract:
There were 50 exhibits at the three-day TiLE 93 (Technology in Leisure and Entertainment) held at the Maastricht Exhibition and Conference Centre (ME/CC). Topics discussed included a call for leisure technology standards allowing compatibility between rival systems, the virtual reality sector, simulation, and the imagery and sound sector. Laurence Newman of Peat Marwick McLintock forecast that expansion of the UK market in 1994 would be through re-branding and re-investment in current sites and equipment.
