100 years of Marlin's '97

Marlin Firearms Co. celebrates the 100th year of manufacture of the company's Model 1897 lever-action repeater rifle, currently known as the Model '97. From 1897 to 1984, over 2,100,000 Model '97 rifles have been produced, attesting to the popularity of the repeater.

Man behind the BDM

Peter Sodoma left Czecholovakia in 1982 and was accepted as a gunsmith by the Browning Arms Co. He designed the BDM 9 mm. pistol which functions in double action and revolver modes.
