Henri Matisse's art underwent a radical change in the summer of 1905 when he came to visit Pyrenees. Matisse was marvelled by the place's brilliance of sunlight and color. Pyrenees boasts of its harbor that appears like a crucible of light, yellow-colored sand and red-colored terraced hill.
