The city of Brooklyn and its development over the years in comparison to Manhattan is discussed. Brooklyn is famous for art galleries, chic restaurants, rock clubs, boutiques, bookstores and a world-class museum. It is surprising that even though Brooklyn has the potential to become one of the biggest cities in US, it has not done so.

A personal account of a trip to the six-million acre Adirondack Park. While parts of the park are described as tame and possibly even tacky, much of the park is still primal and visitors have the choice of staying with society or looking for solitude.
