Article Abstract:
The Cameron-Yaggi trench periscope rifle was a standard M1903 Springfield with Sightascope aiming device to allow soldiers to fire over trench parapet without exposing to enemy fire. Although the Cameron-Yaggi rifle never made it beyond the prototype testing stage, it was an ingenious concept aimed at protecting troops from the ravages of trench warfare.

The Martini Cadet rifle is a good cheap, accurate, flat-shooting rifle suitable for close-up varmints, yet small enough to be carried easily in a vehicle. Martini Cadet actions, in the mid-1950s, were selling for around $8.
