Burma boycott? New tourist drive uses forced labor

Human rights activists have called for a boycott of Burma in response to allegations that the military government is using forced labor to prepare for its 1996 Visit Myanmar Year. However, companies involved in the tourist campaign noted that the boycott will only strengthen the government's resolve to continue its oppressive practices.
