Curacao is the capital of the Netherlands Antilles and is a southernmost Caribbean Island where merchants sail up from Venezuela to sell fish, fruit, vegetables and crafts in Willemstad's Floating Market. Much of Curacao is landmarked by UNESCO including Congregation Mikve Israel-Emanuel built in 1732 by the descendants of Portuguese Jews.
