Hotel rooms are very hard to find in Amsterdam, as the city is visited by millions each year yet has less than 300 hotels. Canal houses often offer the city's best accommodations. Several of these in the Dam Square area are recommended, including the Het Canal House and the Hotel Seven Bridges.
