Death in the grizzly maze
Article Abstract:
Timothy Treadwell and his partner Amie Huguenard were killed and partially consumed by bears while they camped in the Katmai National Park in Alaska while a video camera recorded their last moments. The death of the two brought to an end the life of a controversial figure who believed that he was serving as a savior of Alaska's grizzly bears. Professionals in the field of bear study, however, believed that Treadwell's death was an inevitable result of his behavior towards the animals.
