A brief description on the seven-year, $425 million undertaking Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) opening in Manhattan on November 2004 with reference to the designing of the monument is done. The museum designed by Japanese architect Yoshinay Taniguchi creates a provocative new combination of a museum, its art, and its history.
