A dinner at the lakeside home of Martin and his wife is described as an informal high-spirited chat and eat event. Martin, unlike at least two fellow cartoonists, does not expect to retire early because of burnout. He saves no money and this keeps him motivated to continue to create his comics.

Article Abstract:
The Pump Room and Schulien's are among the Chicago restaurants that continue to decorate their walls with photographs of celebrity customers. Mrs. Levy's Delicatessen also uses photos, but most of those pictured have never eaten in the Sears Tower restaurant.
