The Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area has some of the world's highest sand dunes that reach 500 feet high in places and stretch for 50 miles. Visitors may select from 12 trails that lead to the dunes, such as the Taylor Dunes Trail. They can also fish at several lakes at the area.

England's Dover coast is dotted with several castles that were used to defend the country from French invasions. Many of the castles including Walmer and Dover are well-preserved that visitors can have a glimpse of England's history.
