E.T. Barnette: the wheelin' & dealin' founder of Fairbanks

Crafty entrepreneur E.T. Barnette founded Fairbanks, AK, in 1902. He served as president of the Washington-Alaska Bank and held a number of civic positions. Barnette and his cohorts won an embezzlement lawsuit against them, but he was never able to do business again in Fairbanks.
