Article Abstract:
The Corning Museum of Glass, Corning, New York, offers visitors a glimpse into how glass objects are produced. There is usually a glass-blowing demonstration that ends when the glassblower smashes the piece he has just made. The museum does not allow the patrons to keep the demonstration pieces. The museum has many examples of glass.

Japanese adobe

A personal account is presented of the Ten Thousand Waves spa located in the Santa Fe mountains of New Mexico. Founded in 1981, the facilities of the spa are based on ancient Japanese bathing traditions and incorporate Japanese architecture and design within the Southwestern landscape.
