Six half-price travel programs including Entertainment, Encore, Quest, and ITC-50 are evaluated with number of hotels in each program listed by state. How the hotel prices are arrived at, and how to access the services are explained. Ratings of top cities with the best hotels are also given.

Half-price hotel programs offer good discounts to members, but the best discounts are usually found in North America and the Caribbean. Few hotels in Europe and Asia are part of such programs because demand for their rooms is high. Seven plans that offer global coverage are evaluated.
