Article Abstract:
Linda Zimmer and her puppet dog, Casey, visit sick children at hospitals in hopes of calming and entertaining them. Zimmer spend several years on 'Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood', and she says that Fred Rogers taught her respect for children's emotions. Casey has helped many children who have to undergo surgery or just need someone to talk to about their fears and emotions.

The benefits of horse riding for the disabled are discussed. One of the first initiatives to offer the chance for disabled people to ride was started in 1975 by Colleen Zanin.
