Bob Robb describes his experience of hunting snowshoe hares one of the state's most plentiful small game species overlooked by the vast majority of Alaska sportsmen. He states that there are two distinct species of hare in Alaska, both which turn from brown to white in winter, and the most common species is the snowshoe found in lower Kuskokwin Delta, Alaska Peninsula.
