American people understand that the protection of their own security- physical and economic- is the foremost job of the president rather than democratizing the world. The real danger lies not in a shortage of democracies but in a surplus of terrorist groups and nuclear-armed fanatics who would like to obliterate the cities.

How the law in Washington became a very big business
Article Abstract:
The law is a business, much less a profession, in Washington in the 2000s, due to decreased cordiality and insistence of time billings and business development tactics. Lawyers in the 1960s made less money but enjoyed themselves more due to the enjoyment, stimulation and satisfaction involved in practicing law.

Former VP Spiro Agnew was honored recently by the unveiling of a bust in his likeness at Capitol Hill. The honor seemed unfit for Agnew who was forced to resign after being indicted for accepting bribes and tax evasion.
