A car trip to Alabama's Mt. Cheaha, the highest point in the state at 2,407 ft, the Weiss Lake district and the Lookout Mountain area. Autumn colors are visible throughout Desoto State Park, near Scottsboro, the site of the 1930s rape trials, in the Lookout Mountain area and Cheaha State Park.
