The .357 SIG is a slightly longer .40 S&W pistol cartridge that holds a 0.355"-diameter bullet similar to the 12-gr. .357 Mag. revolver cartridge. It has been adopted by several law enforcement agencies. However, the civilian market showed little interest on the pistol cartridge.
