The National Rifle Assn (NRA) lauded the victories of lawmakers and governors supporting the responsible gun ownership advocacy. NRA helped in the election campaigns of 17 senators, 230 congressmen and 28 state governors. Sen Charles Schumer was still considered NRA's main adversary.

Virginia gun owners' rights are rationed
Article Abstract:
Virginia General Assembly passed House Bill 1592 which limits the right to purchase multiple firearms within a 30-day period. The author of the bill admitted that crime prevention was not the main intent of the proposal but the improvement of the reputation of the state.

Gun owners winners in 102nd Congress
Article Abstract:
Members of the National Rifle Association in the US Congress has successfully lobbied and protected the rights of firearms owners during the 102nd Congress. Due to their actions, various bills and motions detrimental to the Second Amendment have been eliminated.
