Josh Sugarmann's Violence Policy Center seeks to undermine the NRA's Eddie Eagle gun safety program by promoting gun free homes and remove citizens' right to bear arms. Sugarmann sees NRA's program to be a threat to its gun-banning program since it does no prohibit guns but rather seeks to educate children to be safe with guns.
