Article Abstract:
A Labrador retriever named Charlie is the first gun-sniffing dog in the US. According to his handler Grace Sours, Charlie detects guns by identifying the smell of gunpowder residue left after a gun is fired. Charlie is able to smell about 19,000 explosive compounds.
