On thin ice: Alaska feels the heat of climate warming
Article Abstract:
Scientists believe that global warming is causing sea ice found in the Arctic Ocean to melt, thereby causing the tree line to move and regions that previously experienced much snow fall to have little or no snow. The potential long-term effects of the melting of the sea ice are examined.
