America's national park system is regarded as one of the country's great ideas, which were created, beginning in 1872, specifically to preserve the natural and cultural heritage. Thomas Kiernan, the president of the National Park Conservation Association reveals three threats to America's national parks, that include annual budget shortfalls, air pollution, and outside threats.
