A personal account of mountain running in Alaska with particular attention paid ton the annual race up and down Mount Marathon in Seward, Alaska. The Mount Marathon race is part of the six-race Alaska Mountain Runners Grand Prix series. The number of competitors in the Mount Marathon race is limited to 300 men, 300 women and 200 juniors.

The Stonewall experiment

A family has found the ideal way of living in the Alaska homestead they bought named Stonewall Place by espousing the simple ideas upon which the homestead was initially founded. The buyers agreed to comply with the seller's request that they honor the land spiritually.
