Article Abstract:
Pigeon racing is a recreational sport in the US, but in Europe, it involves serious gambling. Pigeons have a natural instinct to return to the home coop, but they must be trained to actually race back. Two major training incentives, 'the widowhood' and the 'jealousy' methods are discussed.
